The Office of International Programs and Studies (IPS), as well as colleges and units across the Illinois campus, work to promote the University's mission of education and outreach within the local community. The goal is to share the international expertise of its distinguished faculty and foster dialogue about critical international issues. Area and thematic centers aim to educate the campus community about different world regions, while offering a range of educational programs and cultural activities for the general public.
Launched in fall of 2005 to reflect the wide range of the university’s international engagement and research, the Review is published twice annually, with new issued released each fall and spring semesterr. Contributors to the Review include faculty, staff writers, students, and administrators.
International Week at Illinois is comprised of a series of educational, cultural and recreational events designed to foster interest in our global community. Coordinated by International Programs and Studies and a cross-campus organizing committee, the goal of International Week is to raise awareness about the breadth of international education, activities and resources at Illinois.
